2002 Mooney Ovation
$249,900
Stunning Mooney Ovation ready to fly!
This airplane came to us because the owner had an issue with the nose gear shimmy on landing. Ran it off the edge of the runway and blew the nose gear doughnuts as well as getting the tip of one prop blade. We went to California, changed the nose gear and prop, dialed the crankshaft, and ferried the plane back to Morristown Tennessee. We removed the engine, and had it completely torn down. Found no issues with the engine. Put it back together and reinstalled it on the plane. We performed an annual, and had an inspection. Have been flying it for the past year. The plane performs flawlessly. 195 knots at 13 qph

A Beechcraft B36TC is an A36 with longer wings and more fuel capacity. Designed o go higher, further, and faster than an A36. This airplane came out of California. Pilot was landing and had a seizure just as he touched down. The nose gear fork broke off and kicked back into the bottom of the plane, causing a small hole in the belly, the prop blades lost about half to one inch off the tip of each blade. We removed the engine, had it torn down for IRAN and reinstalled. A fresh overhauled prop was also installed. The nose gear fork was replaced and the repair done to the belly. All work was signed off and a new annual was performed.
Prior to purchasing the plane, the engine was rebuilt by Tornado Ally and converted to an IO550 engine. This famous Tornado Ally conversion was accomplished, which included a turbo and intercooler. TKS was added to the entire plane, then a Garmin G500 system, and a GTN750 was added. The paint and interior are very nice as well.
